Due to automatically mounted CD-ROM get mounted with the noexec option in Red Hat 5.2 platform. (Run mount command afterwards to check what options it got mounted with.) With the noexec option set on a filesytem, you wouldn't be able to run executables off it, including shell scripts. As a workaround though, you can still run script by doing "sh ./aswm.sh" or remount CD-ROM and endow exec option. ex "remount /dev/scd0 /media/55x0SCD -o remount,exec". The aswm.sh script help you install correct model's RPMs by motherboard or system name in DMI table. Requried RPM: 1. lm_sensors 2. net-snmp 3. net-snmp-utils 4. quagga 5.
