The Remote Control is a software tool for Windows which gives you complete control of video file playbacks. It is used in a similar way to a remote control for a TV or VCR, but its functionality exceeds that of the conventional devices. The following features mark the 'Remote Control' as a high performance tool:
  • Simple to use and fast to learn
  • Easy location of films with thumbnail view function
  • Playback of AVI and MPEG video file formats
  • Up to 99 TV channels can be created for the Remote Control
  • Description of the button currently under the cursor
  • Hotkey definition

Click DTV 2000 - TV Remote Control in the Diamond group to start the Remote Control.

To change the position of the TV Remote Control on your screen:

  • Move the mouse cursor over the Remote Control until the cursor changes into a white hand.
  • Hold the left mouse button down, and when the white hand turns 90 degrees, drag the Remote Control to its new position.
  • Then release the mouse button.

Note: If the white hand does not turn the Remote Control will not move: set the cursor to another position on the remote control and try again.

To start your TV or video operation, click one of the input source buttons.

Note: If the window that opens has no menu bar displaying its functional and operational options, right-click the window, select Window and check Title & Menu Bar.
