Release Notes
-------------
This is v1.00 of the Viper V330 Series Windows NT 3.51 driver set.

Installation  Notes
-------------------
To make a install disk, please run the start program from the CD and create 
an installation disk. Follow now the instructions given by the program.

You must have Windows NT 3.51 installed with the Standard VGA driver 
(640x480x16) before you install the Diamond Viper V330 Series NT 
drivers.  If you are running a different graphics mode please re-configure
for Standard VGA.

If you are installing Windows NT 3.51 for the first time with the Viper V330
Series graphics adapter, the Windows NT 3.51 installer will detect the Viper
V330 Series as an VGA compatable compatible display adapter.  When the
Display Settings dialog appears, select Cancel.  This will install the
Standard VGA driver.

Manual Installation Instructions
--------------------------------
1.  Once you have confirmed that you are running in Standard VGA, place the 
    Viper V330 Series Windows NT Driver Diskette into the floppy
    drive.

2.  Open the Windows NT Control Panel.

3.  Select the Display icon.

4.  Select Change Display Type.

5.  Select Change.

6.  Select Other.

7.  Confirm that the Driver Diskette is in A: (or you can change the drive 
    letter if the driver diskette is in another drive).

8.  You will now be presented with a list of driver entries. Select: 

	Diamond Viper V330 Series

9.  You will then be prompted to change your system configuration. Select Yes.
   
10.  When prompted to install Current or New drivers, select the New option.
   
11.  Confirm the source path.
    
12.  You need to restart Windows NT 3.51 for the changes to take place.
   
Note that the default resolution that installed is 640x480x8 60Hz.
    
From this point on, you can change your resolution/color depth by
using the Display Icon in the Control Panel.  Select the
"List All Modes" button.  This will display all resolutions and
refresh rates available.  Please use the Test option so that you
can confirm that the selected refresh rate and resolution is
supported by your monitor.

Known Limitations
-----------------
The Windows NT 3.51 drivers require Service Pack 3 to be installed
to run correctly.
