Diamond Driver CD's

DIAMOND also provides drivers and software updates, as well as product information and tips & tricks from our Tech Support Team, on CD-ROM.

There are three different CD types: DIAMOND SuperCD, DIAMOND SuperCD Professional Line, and DIAMOND ServiceCD.

Below you'll find information about what's on these CD's and where and how to order them.

DIAMOND SuperCD and DIAMOND ServiceCD - What are the differences?

DIAMOND SuperCD (version 1/97 or higher)

The SuperCD only contains drivers for newer DIAMOND products (except the FIRE GL series), drivers for older DIAMOND products or for SPEA products are not included on this CD.
With the DIAMOND SuperCD, you can install drivers easily directly from the CD.
This CD also provides information about products and support information (Website Copy).

The DIAMOND SuperCD is updated at irregular intervals.

Note: SuperCD's up to version I/97 also included all drivers for all (old) DIAMOND products.

DIAMOND SuperCD Professional Line

The SuperCD Professional Line only contains drivers for products of our FIRE GL x000 series, also directly installable from the CD.
The SuperCD Professional Line is updated at irregular intervals.

DIAMOND ServiceCD

On our ServiceCD you'll find all drivers for ALL Diamond, SPEA V7, and SPEA Graphiti products (*). The ServiceCD is a copy of our European Web Site.
Due to the lack of space on this CD, we had to dispense with the comfortable SuperCD's convenient installation routines.
On the ServiceCD, all drivers are offered in packed form, the way they're provided on our online services. You'll find information about the installation of these drivers in a README file that is created when you unpack the self-extracting archives.

A new ServiceCD will be released each quarter.

Please note: The last CD which contains SPEA Graphiti drivers is ServiceCD Q4/97.

Obtaining the CD's

All CD's can be obtained directly from DIAMOND. Please send your orders to the fax number given below.
To make sure that you'll get the correct CD please give us the complete name of your DIAMOND/SPEA product.
